Editorial Policy
Drink More Bourbon publishes bourbon news, reviews, history, guides, and drink recipes for adults of legal drinking age. This policy explains how we work.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to verify names, dates, proof, age statements, prices, availability, and other factual claims before publication. We prefer distillery materials, government records, official organizations, direct interviews, and clearly identified reputable reporting. Sources are linked when useful and available. Announcements and producer tasting notes are labeled as such rather than presented as independent findings.
Reviews and firsthand experience
We do not claim to have tasted, visited, tested, or purchased something unless that occurred. A bottle announcement or specifications-based article is not presented as a tasting review. Opinions are separated from confirmed facts, and uncertainty is stated plainly.
Artificial intelligence
AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, editing, headline options, structured data, or original editorial images. AI cannot taste bourbon or replace editorial judgment. Articles are reviewed by a human editor before publication, and AI-generated images are intended as illustrative editorial art—not documentary photography. We prohibit prompts requesting copied photography, brand logos, readable labels, watermarks, or identifiable branded bottles.
Independence and conflicts
Advertisers, affiliate partners, brands, retailers, and product suppliers do not receive approval rights over our conclusions. Complimentary products, sponsored work, affiliate links, or other material relationships are disclosed where they matter to readers.
Corrections and updates
When a meaningful factual error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and may add a correction or update note. Silent fixes may be used for spelling, grammar, formatting, or broken links that do not change the substance. Recipes and safety
